We provide 24 hour care right on our residential property, along with 24 hour motion and sound detected camera surveillance when not with your pets. Care plans are provided per each individual dog making their stay comfortable for them and a sense of peace for their family. We offer in home accommodation, exercise such as dog treadmill/fetch/frisbee, mental engagement, and kennel activities to prevent boredom.

breeding
We have been breeding Low Drive German Shepherds since 2018.
Puppies come with 1/2 off boarding for life, AKC Registered, Contract of Care, Microchipped, and Vaccinated.
Our pets' lives revolve around us. We pride ourselves in being an active, caring family who all take hand in various parts of our kennel. We work together to provide your pet with the best stay possible.

Ace, Winnie, Nyx
Meet our pack, Ace x Nyx created Winnie. Our dogs are low drive, genetically tested and cleared of inherited diseases, including DM Clear. Sire is OFA Certified, Hips and Elbows

Mack is our daughter; she is all things hands on with our whelping and breeding. She is a pivotal part of our birthing process and has been assisting since she was 8 years old. She just might be the boss around here :)
Kam
Kam is our son; he is who our boarding dogs find the most fun. He is always playing ball with our guests, checking on them, and loves to invite those who need extra love a spot in his bed!
Please note during busy times or in the event our family is unavailable, we do have a few trusted helpers to end to those staying with us.

All about booking
-Register Online on our portal, ensuring that pick up and drop off times are close to actual as we are flexible to each family and can only continue to do so if times are closely followed. Please let us know via portal if your dog has any allergies or special needs so that we may make their stay comfortable and safe as possible. All waivers must be signed.
-Vaccination Records Sent to us via Vet to Kennel64iowa@gmail.com or uploaded to online portal; see below for which are required.
-Payment is due upon drop off; You can enter CC info on portal or pay via cash/Venmo/check at drop off. If boarding online for a stay over 5 days, we do require a deposit of $50 to secure your spot.
**Vaccination Requirements:
-Rabies, Parvo, and Distemper are all required by State of Iowa and Kennel 64. We do NOT require Kennel Cough but ask if you vaccinate your dog with this vaccine that you wait 10 days post vaccine before boarding with us.

Boarding FAQS
Q: Can my dogs be boarded in same run?
A: Yes, we encourage same home dogs to share a space. This helps them feel more comfortable. All runs will accommodate this needs, we have various sizes for different breeds.
Q: Can I check on my dog?
A: Yes, you can text/video/call about your dog as many times as you’d like, we are here to ease your mind and to provide the best care possible. However, we do not allow others to visit on your behalf during the animals stay as our insurance company does not approve for liability nor enter the boarding area
Q: Can I tour your facility:
A: We offer a virtual tour, please reach out and we are happy to share this with you as well as any follow up questions can be done via phone/facetime/text/messenger. We are licensed by the State of Iowa and adhere to all codes of conduct required.
Q: What if my plane/trip is late and I am unable to pick up my dog on time?
A: We are family ran, this means we have flexibility in times of need. As long as you can be transparent, we will work with you and keep your dog safe and happy until you are able to pick up.

What does a typical day at Kennel 64 look like for my dog?
- We wake up early; Potty & Breakfast between 5-6 AM
- Every 2 hours we have potty and belly rub break from 7 AM-8 PM
- 2x per day we are offered Kongs/puzzle mats/lick mats/bones ect in our kennels to keep our brains engaged
- 24 Hour Monitoring via motion and sound detected cameras and someone on site 24 hours per day as well
- 1 Hour of dedicated exercise per day; Including but not limited to play equipment, tug , swimming pool, ball pit, or even sniffing around the play yard
- TV with dog featured shows 24 hours per day for all doggies
- Check in with our parents; photos/video/message from staff to boarding parent
- Each dog upon check in is viewed for injuries/symptoms of illness as well as 1x per day to ensure safety of our guests
- Plenty of time with the kids for those dogs who enjoy them
